Military Spouse Appreciation Day

Military Appreciation Day

This was shared by the US Navy today and was captioned with the text below.

On this Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we want to say ‘thank you’ to all of our ‪#‎USNavy‬ spouses who serve too!

On a personal note, I’d like to extend my thanks and gratitude for the sacrifices made by the men and women who kept the home fires burning while their best friends were away defending our well being. Your sacrifices will not be forgotten.

I found a collection of the Cathedral in Cologne Germany, 1945. I think all of these images belong together so today they’re all image of the Day, collectively.  Enjoy.
