Two-Man Team Who Took on Whole Army And Won

I’m getting this  out to you at the “11th hour” for My” Wednesday War Story” post. I just happened upon this story (1 of 5) about a two-man team that took on whole armies and won. (As the title suggests). I’ll share the others too but for now, read how 2 Soldiers took on the Nazi’s in WWII. The writer uses his wit so there is a comical air about the stories but I think everyone will enjoy them. (Salty language is used but anyone reading this should know, that comes with the territory). Enjoy! Read more

Boots on the Ground: 173rd Airborne Brigade

A Show of Force.

U.S. Army paratroopers from the 173rd  Airborne Brigade have their boots on the ground in Eastern Europe. They will be performing “Military exercises” with Poland in efforts to curb Russia’s president Vladimir Putin from further advancement into the Ukraine. In honor of them I thought I would share some images of our Soldiers from the 173rd doing what they do best: Jumping out of perfectly good airplanes!

So, here’s to our jumpers; be safe Soldiers, America supports you.

Spc. Leah R. Burton Capt. Charles Moore,

A warrior of light knows that certain moments repeat themselves.
He often finds himself faced by the same problems and situations, and seeing
these difficult situations return, he grows depressed, thinking that he is incapable of
making any progress in life.
‘I’ve been through all this before,’ he says to his heart.
‘Yes, you have been through all this before,’ replies his heart. ‘But you have
never been beyond it.’
Then the warrior realises that these repeated experiences have but one aim: to
teach him what he does not want to learn.

Private K.O. Earl, of the Perth Regiment, stops for a rest in the forest north of Arnhem, as the 5 Canadian Division advances. 15 Apr 1945, Arnhem (vic), The Netherlands.

Before embarking on an important battle, a warrior of light asks himself: ‘How  far have I developed my abilities?’
He knows that he has learned something with every battle he has fought, but  many of those lessons have caused him unnecessary suffering. More than once he has
wasted his time fighting for a lie. And he has suffered for people who did not deserve his love.
Victors never make the same mistake twice. That is why the warrior only risks his heart for something worthwhile.
