Jerry Parrott, veteran of the Korean War

Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Jerry Parrott of the U.S. Army. Jerry served with the 2nd Division, 38th Infantry from 1950-1952 during the Korean War. He was awarded the Silver and Bronze Star. He received the Purple Heart for being wounded in Korea by a gunshot in the abdomen and shrapnel in the knee.
