Compare & Contrast: Woodstock vs War in Vietnam

08 August 2014 With the 45th anniversary of Woodstock approaching, (August 15-17) I thought I’d re-share a post from June.  I carefully chose the following  compilation. These images represent  the same era but their worlds apart–in more ways than one–I compare/contrast 2 significant events that coincided with each other–briefly–and helped defined a generation in American History. The images are eerily similar, yet not.  I’ll let them speak for themselves.
